Aloha Rockshield & Young Master!
Rock, I have other G.I.Joe fan art that I've done over the years since I was 13 years old. However, I put way more work into the one posted here than I did the others. I think I have one that is color-penciled in. Most of the rest are black pen on white paper. I gave one away to my nephew YEARS ago (my cousin's son) and I never saw it again. He's a good kid so, when you was younger (I like to say "littler"), I had a hard time telling him "No".
I do have my Joe fan art from a calendar I did back in 1993 (God, that was 16 years ago!). I can post that one, too, if you are interested.
Young Master,
Snake-Eyes & Scarlett were riding on a helicopter when another Joe copter accidentally collided with theirs. This collision ignited aviation gases from the other copter and blew into the one ridden by Snake-Eyes & Scarlett. The burning aviation gases brutally disfigured Snake-Eyes' face (severely burning mostly his chin & vocal chords) as he was attempting to free Scarlett's snagged harness from the closed helicopter door.
Snake-Eyes' face probably looks as disfigured as Freddy Krueger's face (from "A Nightmare on Elm Street" but mostly below the nose and definitely below the chin.
I tried to depict the severe burns on Snake-Eyes' face when I made my drawing. Forgive me if it doesn't really come across.
When working on that portion, I looked up burn-victim photos on the internet. That was probably the most difficult part of making the drawing since it was kind of depressing. Since it was hard to get quite right, the final image looks more like a Skrull (a la Marvel comic books) than a burn victim. This was truly NOT intentional.
