WOW! That looks fantastic in color. I guess this is a case where everything (pencils, inks, colors) comes together extremely well.

Yeah, Color-Viper's colors really add to my pencils and inks, I think.

looks really sharp and awesome colors. One question... why is he holding his sword backwards?

Well, I'd have to say that was just a simple oversight on my part. When I went back to do the inks, I forgot to switch the angle of the blade to match the direction of his forward hand. I didn't realize that until well after it had been colored and released, but fortunately, very few people have actually made notice of it, so I guess at card size, it isn't quite as obvious.

It is good to see that some people actually do pay attention to those little elements of the artwork we do as artists. Whether it be simple flaws or minor details, at least someone is paying attention. I have even been known to do something "wrong" like that on purpose, just to see if anyone catches it in the pencils before I go to ink it.

Well I have tried to pay attention to those cards. What you guys do over at joefirefight ought to be commended on more. everyone else in the hobby just let the game die before it really got off the ground.

I just wish I had a way of turning these cool looking cards on paper, into a real in-my-hands-and-looking-storebought deck.

Also, there needs to be a Ex Deus Machina card for Snake Eyes which trumps everything else in every battle format...

it has to be possible... it's just always a matter of money.

JoeCanuck distributed their own cards for free last year if you remember. They were not TCG cards... but nevertheless they were sharp character-based trading cards, and they gave them away for free.

Perhaps what is needed is a join effort with any entity to create the sponsorship funds that would suddenly allow this to be possible.
