Mission Statement

Although this is a great time to be a G.I. Joe Fan... and Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow roll out of the factories in a seemingly constant supply of something new... there is still that undeniable sense that our favorite combat ninja's remain in an incredible state of underappreciation.

On almost all of the online boards we read the same thing "no more Snake Eyes!" or "Haven't we gotten enough ninjas?".. and I think it is clear that one massive reality is forgotten... without the Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow backstory, G.I. Joe would have never been nearly as successful as it turned out to be.

There is a reason why the heart of the Joe mythos has Snake Eyes face on it. Regardless of how the various anti-Snake Eyes fans choose to look upon it... you cannot be pro-Joe without being pro-Snake Eyes. The very "canon" of Joe, written by its creator Larry Hama, develops no stronger two characters than the Classified Commando and Tommy Arashikage. Because of the fans who came in late, or those who missed the actual storyline behind the Joe's altogether, there is a growing anti-presence and ignorance of this integral part of the joe world online.

Take the official G.I. Joe Collectors Club for instance. Of all of the cool figures they have put out over the years, and the boxed sets and convention exclusives, never once have we seen Snake Eyes or Storm Shadow represented. Supposedly across the online boards there is the sentiment that collectors are "tired" of the aforementioned combat hero's.

Well, the purpose of this board, this website, and this club is to assure the rest of the collectors, the club, and Hasbro, that this is entirely not true. There are still hoards of fans and collectors who got into the hobby and the mythos because of our masked arashikage masters, and we stay in it because of our interest in them.

When a new wave of figures comes out, and it features not a single version of Snake Eyes, or Storm Shadow, we groan. We wait in anticipation for an announcement of the next figures, hoping that a new version, or maybe a variant of one of the classics, is going to be released.

We are not tired of Snake Eyes. We haven't gotten enough of him, and we cannot appreciate comics put out where he does not appear. We have never had enough of Storm Shadow... and his comic series ended way too soon.

We also represent the knowledgeable fans who want to correct the various misunderstandings about the sword brothers. Two many alternate universe's have caused confusion amongst the fans, and so many are left without the "true facts" of our novel heroes. Within this site we shall correct them, and promote the facts regarding our Joe hero's... and we will help bring together those who still appreciate the very greatest masterpieces of Larry Hama's creative genius.
